“A lot of people think meetings are just to find a solution to their heroin addiction. HA has done that for me, but this particular women’s group has become my family, my village for helping me raise my children and some of the best friends I could ever ask for. I never thought I’d be sitting here writing an article on what other women have done for me, my family, and my sobriety, more or less, explaining how they are now the backbone to my recovery, but here we are.”
